What’s Happening

There’s a lot going on in the next couple of months.

Writing news: Fly with me is two months away from being released. Eeep. I’m super nervous and excited to launch this book out into the world. I’ve received a few reviews on Goodreads from the ARCs I sent out and have been pleased with the responses.

I snagged a spot on a writing podcast called Somebody Write This. We’re recording tomorrow and I’m a little nervous.

Personal News: For those who don’t know, I’m pregnant. I was able to schedule my c-section date for next month and now I’m watching the date slowly approach. My current youngest is 10 so this will be a huge adjustment for everyone. I’m excited and nervous too, but mostly ready to be done feeling so uncomfortable. While the timing was not what I would have chosen, it’s been nice to focus on all the baby stuff and be way less nervous about the book launch stuff.

What I’m Working On: I’ve started looking into a sequel for Fly With Me, taking one of the other girls in the book and telling her story. I’m working with my amazing critique group to sort out the details and plot.

I have another book I wrote in 2018 that I’d like to revisit and revise. It’s about two kids who inherit a magical map and have to save their town from a magical scientist.
